When you come to the thrift shelf area, take a look at our new shelving set-up. Due to the new set-up, the FOL DONATION MAILBOX has been moved to a new location on top of the new bookcases in front of the glass window by the photocopier.

As always, our thrift shelves are open for your perusal and are available to the public year round. Suggested donations: $1.00-hard covers, 50¢-soft covers, four for $1.00-children's books, $1.00 – DVDs, $.50 - CDs.

Check out our SPOTLIGHT section which has specific authors or subject matter for the month. Also, look for our special sales of thrift books. Monetary donations are placed in the FOL donation mailbox next to the thrift shelves.

Give your books and DVDs a “second life” by donating them to the FOL. Donated books and DVDs in good clean condition are vital to our continued success and always welcomed. To make a book donation, bring your box/bag of books marked "FOL" and place it in the large box next to the copy machines near the thrift shelves, during regular hours of library operation. Sorry - we cannot take magazines or encyclopedias as space does not allow for their storage.

Our 2018 three-day Annual Book Sale will be September 13, 14 and 15.

All proceeds from the FOL book sales directly support the Center Moriches Free Public Library. Funds raised go toward beneficial library programs and events, such as the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten initiative, as well as enhancements to library equipment and provisions that greatly benefit our patrons, community, and staff.

The book sales are staffed entirely by volunteers from the FOL. Perhaps you might like to help by volunteering or donating books? Come, join us, you never know what treasure you may find!!

Specific days and times of the book sale will be posted here and in the CM Newsletter as the time draws nearer.
