Friends are civic-minded neighbors who know that quality library
service is important to their community. Their goals are
to support, improve and promote the library by enlisting public
support, by informing the public of the library’s services and
by raising money to purchase items for the library.
is open to everyone and we encourage anyone interested in
supporting their library to join. Members wanting to have
a more active role in the Friends should also attend the monthly
Action Committee meetings held in Meeting Room A, the 2nd
Wednesday of each month at
7:00pm. Attendance is not
a requirement of membership. The Friends do not meet in

The two Friends thrift shelves filled with books are located
near the front desk and are available to the public year round.
Suggested donations are $1.00 for hard covers and 50˘
for soft covers and four per $1.00 for children's books.

MONDAY AFTERNOON AT THE LIBRARY
The Friends proudly sponsor afternoon
games in the library's Community Room each Monday afternoon
starting at 1:30 until closing. Enjoy a friendly
game of Mah Jongg, Scrabble, cards and other table-top games
along with great conversation. On the last Monday of each
month a different film is shown in a theater-like setting on the
big screen in the community room.
