Board of Trustees

The Library is governed by 5 Trustees that are elected by the Center Moriches community for a 5-year term. Trustees are volunteers and in conjunction with the Library Director plan long term goals, set annual budgets, policies and work together in the best interest of the Library. The Trustees are responsible for hiring and monitoring of the Director’s management of the Library. The Board of Trustees meets on the 2nd Monday of every month at 7:00pm unless there is a holiday and then the meeting will be held the following Monday.  Meetings are open to the public.
