Lost and Found

The Library assumes no responsibility for personal items found on the Library’s premises. Personal items left at the Library, with no identification of the owner, including materials left in copy machines including cash, will be labeled with the date when discovered  and will be stored for up to thirty (30) days in an area designated for lost material(s). Items not claimed will be discarded or donated to charity when appropriate. Cash will be donated to the “Friends of the Library” if not claimed within the specified time limit. The Library reserves the right to immediately discard materials left at the Library with no identification of the owner if doing so is in the best interest of public health and staff and patron welfare.
